Shakespeare on Stage
Why talk about theatre when you can experience it?
Students from the SV4 and S4C spent six English lessons on stage. Together with director and actress Alexandra Hofer, the students analysed texts from "Macbeth" and "Romeo and Juliet" and brought certain passages to the stage by acting them out. The students took on the roles of Romeo, Juliet, Macbeth, witches, soldiers and servants.This project offered them a new approach to working on texts and experiencing literature first hand.
